My Wake-Up Call

My journey into this work began many years ago when I suffered a slipped disc. At the time, life was good, but like many people, I spent long hours sitting at a desk and wasn’t always paying attention to what my body needed.

The injury became a wake-up call.

Rather than accepting that pain would simply be part of my future, it gave me the motivation to take responsibility for my recovery, health, and fitness. It taught me that whilst we can’t always control what happens to us, we can choose how we respond.

One of the most significant moments in my recovery was being able to walk again without pain. Something so simple suddenly felt extraordinary and changed the way I viewed my health forever.

Discovering the Power of Pilates

A few years later, in my early thirties, I was diagnosed with degenerative discs. Faced with the possibility of surgery, I was determined to explore other options first. Through one-to-one Pilates, I learned how to strengthen my body, improve my posture and movement, and support my back in a way I never thought possible.

Pilates didn’t just help me manage my condition it transformed my relationship with my body. It gave me confidence, strength, and the knowledge that movement can be one of the most powerful tools we have for maintaining our health and wellbeing. Thanks to Pilates, I was able to avoid surgery and continue living an active life.

Finding Balance Through Reiki and Journaling

My Reiki journey began over 25 years ago as a client. Throughout the years, Reiki became a source of calm, balance, and healing during different stages of my life. In 2024, after witnessing the remarkable difference Reiki made to our own pet, I felt inspired to deepen my knowledge and train as a Reiki Practitioner so that I could share its benefits with others.

More recently, Journaling has become an important part of my personal growth journey. In 2025, I completed a 22-Day Journaling Course and experienced first-hand the power of putting pen to paper. Journaling helped me gain clarity, process my thoughts and emotions, and reconnect with what truly matters. It reminded me of the importance of making time for ourselves and listening to our inner voice.

My Mission for Your Wellbeing

Today, my work brings together everything I have learned from my own experiences.

I know how easy it is to put other people’s needs before our own. Whether we’re caring for family, supporting friends, managing work commitments, or simply juggling the demands of everyday life, our own wellbeing can often take a back seat.

My mission is to create supportive spaces where individuals feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to pause, reflect, heal, and grow.

Whether through Pilates, Reiki, Journaling, or a combination of all three, my aim is to empower them with the tools, confidence, and support to make choices that feel right for them.

I believe wellbeing isn’t about perfection; it’s about creating sustainable habits that support us physically, emotionally, and mentally. Small, consistent steps really can lead to meaningful change.

Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, and encouraging. I believe in meeting individuals where they are, celebrating progress rather than perfection, and creating a safe, supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves.
