Gentle Energy Healing for Animals
Animal Reiki is a non-invasive, calming energy healing practice that supports the physical, emotional, and energetic wellbeing of animals. It works by offering gentle, hands-off energy that encourages relaxation, balance, and the body’s natural healing response.
Animal Reiki respects each animal’s unique needs and free will, allowing them to receive energy in a way that feels safe and comfortable for them.

Animal Reiki is practiced with mindfulness, compassion, and respect.
Sessions are always led by the animal’s responses, ensuring they feel safe and supported at all times.
How Animal Reiki Works
Animals are naturally sensitive to energy and often respond quickly to Reiki. Sessions can be carried out in person or at a distance, making Animal Reiki suitable for animals who are anxious, unwell, elderly, or recovering from trauma.
During a session, energy is offered rather than directed, creating a peaceful space where the animal can relax deeply. Some animals may sleep, move closer, move away, or simply rest quietly all responses are perfectly normal.

The Journey That Led Me to Animal Reiki -
Three years ago, I found myself in a place many pet owners know all too well the desperate need to know exactly what my dog, Dylan, needed.
I contacted in the wonderful Sarah Keeling Edwards to do Reiki and talk to him. That experience was a revelation.
Seeing the peace it brought him and the clarity it gave me to support him in his final nine months was so profound that I knew I had to learn it myself
That’s why I trained in Animal Reiki. It taught me that communication doesn’t always need words; sometimes, it just needs a dedicated space to be heard. It became my anchor through the hardest and most beautiful months of my life.

What Happens During A Session?
Each session is guided by the animal and lasts approximately 3–45 minutes, depending on their comfort and willingness.
Reiki can be offered:
- Hands-on (if welcomed by the animal)
- Hands-off (from a short distance)
- At a distance (ideal for nervous or hard to reach animals)
You may notice your animal becoming calmer, more settled, or deeply relaxed during or after the session.
